Ordering a custom painting by commission

This canvas pictured is a special order commission for a client in 2009.  Ideally Theo Dapore

is a artist who offers his clientele the option of having artwork made to the size requirements not

offered in standard size canvases. Answering the question where do I find artwork  in the size

that I require?  I need a special shape of canvas to mount over a fireplace.  There is a area in my dining nook

that I would like to fill the space but  it is tall and narrow. Finding the right diameter for the spot has not been possible at online galleries or independent artist websites.  I have a premium location for a painting over my sofa and under the overhead track light. The area is oblong and slender buy extremely long.

Dapore has hand built, painted, and shipped original art as large as 60×96 inches. The artist would like the opportunity to compose artistically with extremely large wall paintings. The maximum size that the artisan can create a single canvas is 96×96 inches. His goal is to put together multiple canvases and create a gigantic painting using multiple canvases.  Possibly for a corporate main room reception area or a living room with a cathedral  ceiling.
