Giant is the theme for this section of the wall mural.

It contains birds, mushrooms, trees, flowers, and large blades of grass.

Again the walls are over eight feet tall.

All of the Styrofoam sculptures where designed as you go. The unpainted pieces where applied to the wall
using hot glue and cut with a hot wire Styrofoam cutter purchased from http://hotwirefoamfactory.com/home.php
They have several types of cutters. Smaller ones with about a 5 inch wire in different thicknesses. A larger two hand 2×4 foot bow cutter. This is the one I attached to a home made table to cut angles and circles.
The mushroom stems are 2 inch thick Styrofoam hot wire cut and carved some with various weights of sandpaper.
Mushroom caps are heated and bent with a interior frame. Blades of grass are hot wire cut free form by hand holding the bow cutter. I utilized many of the scrap pieces for smaller items. At the end what was scrapped was minimal.

The width of the pink teal mushroom is over 6 feet wide and extends outward from the wall about 20 inches.

A close-up of the mushroom and a flower. The flower petals where made by hand holding the
Styrofoam bow cutter and cutting irregular grooves. Note the under side of the mushroom caps
have linage to add detail.
