This was a new type of project for me.

My norm is painting on canvas, some I envisioned to be large at 48×96 inches which equals 4×8 feet.

This was nothing to the scope of this project which was a first for me.

The hallways, which both side where painted where measured in three sections.

One run was roughly 40 feet,

the second roughly 30 feet,

and the third roughly 25 feet.

The total in feet is 190 feet in length.

Figuring the length times the height equals

1520 square feet.

Part of the above water scene in a monotone blue.

The white heron and seagulls are 3-D sculpted from

construction grade Styrofoam.

The mural wall is over 8 feet in height.

This is a close-up image of the

white heron which is carved from

construction grade Styrofoam.

He measures roughly 3 feet in height.

The train engine is a 3-D element and was

designed on the fly composing as the sections where built.

Many of the pieces where cut separately, placed on the wall

with a dab of hot glue. The placement of each piece was lightly marked on the wall

and numbered. Removed plastic coated, painted, and sealed with a plastic satin varnish.

To help you understand the thickness, the smoke stake in carved from 2 inch thick material.

The roof  is protrudes outward from the wall about 6 inches.

This is a large wall mural with much more information and images

if you wish you may read on to the next page.
