This is the first painting in this styling that Theo has painted.
The artist actually used a mixing palette to prepare the paint
range. He normally applies straight color to the canvas and
creates the value ranges direct.
The size of the canvas is 18×36 inches or roughly
45×90 centimeters.
The intent of the painter Dapore was to create
the atmosphere created just after a rain fall.
The sky is still filled with dark rain clouds
blocking a create amount of light.
Quiet, the still feel after a heavy rain
and the wind is nonexistent.
This piece has a bit of a surreal feel.
A few drops of water drip from the
lily pad edges to tell the story of
the event that has just happened.
