To date 2/23/2011 over 500 original paintings of the Abstract Thought series have been purchased. Many are large format triptych diptych and multiple canvas. Theo has painted many single large scape paintings as large as 48×96 inches which equals 4×8 feet.

Diptych painting Abstract thought 525

Theo works in many frame layouts and techniques.

Above the format is a diptych  20 high by 60 long

painted on a black canvas the white has been applied

directly to the canvas and using bold brush strokes the

color has been mixed with the underlying black to form

tonal values of gray.

The circles of rings where produced using metal rings.

Abstract thought 516 three piece group set one 12x48 plus two 8x48 inch canvas

Vertical abstract triptych. the long narrow upright

pattern has been painted in acrylic using

a drag smear technique using a custom made

jumbo palette knife. The blade is about 12 inches in length.

back ground is wet into wet blending  over layer  of

smear and drag and some dipped paint.

Pure white and black where applied directly to the

canvas and with a large three inch brush using cross hatch bold strokes

the paint was blended.

The arching lines are a single continuous brush stroke which some reach

almost 5 feet in length.

The rings or circles where made using and spinning metal rings.
